The stationary cone and winding cone come pre-mounted, so you don't have to press them on yourself. Pick your wire size, inside diameter, and spring length from the options. If you don't know your spring size, measure the wire with calipers, check the ID (usually 1-3/4 or 2 inches for residential), and measure the spring body length while it's relaxed.
