Why Choose Our Torsion Springs:

  • ⚙️ Oil-Tempered or Galvanized Steel Options – Built for maximum durability, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.

  • 🧰 Precision-Wound Coils – Maintain even door balance and reduce strain on openers and cables.

  • 🧿 Available in Multiple Wire Sizes & Lengths – Find the exact fit for your residential or commercial door.

  • 🇺🇸 Made in the USA – Manufactured with high-quality American steel and strict quality standards.

  • 🔧 Engineered for Longevity – Rated for thousands of open/close cycles for dependable performance.

How to Choose the Correct Torsion Springs:

  1. Measure Wire Size (Gauge) – Use calipers or measure 10 and 20 coils to determine spring wire diameter.

  2. Measure Inside Diameter (ID) – Common sizes include 1.75”, 2”, and 2.625”.

  3. Measure Spring Length – Only measure the coil length (excluding cones).

  4. Check Wind Direction – Left-wound springs mount on the right side of the center bracket, and vice versa.

  5. Match Door Weight & Height – Proper sizing ensures balanced operation and longer system life.

  6. Always Replace in Pairs – Keeps the door properly balanced and reduces stress on components.

Safety Tip:

Torsion springs are under extreme tension — improper installation can cause injury or damage. Always use professional-grade winding bars and follow safety procedures, or hire a qualified technician if unsure.
