No. You can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, creating an account gives you benefits such as faster checkout, the ability to track your order history, save your shipping addresses, and manage your preferences. You can create an account at any time from the account page on our website.

We specialize in residential and light commercial garage door replacement parts, including torsion springs, extension springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, brackets, opener parts (gears, circuit boards, remotes, sensors, belts), weather seals, safety cables, and maintenance accessories. If you are looking for something specific and do not see it on our website, contact us and we may be able to help.

All products we sell are brand new and have never been installed or used. We do not sell refurbished, remanufactured, or used parts. Every item ships to you in original factory packaging in new, ready-to-install condition.

We provide compatibility information for each product we sell. However, garage door systems vary significantly across brands, models, and configurations. It is your responsibility to verify compatibility before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact us with your garage door make, model, and the specific part you need, and we will do our best to confirm compatibility before you purchase.

Some products may carry a manufacturer's warranty provided directly by the manufacturer. Warranty information, if available, will be noted on the product page or included in the product packaging. Our own liability with respect to product defects is limited to the remedies available under our Refund Policy. We do not provide additional warranties beyond our return and refund rights.

Torsion springs are rated by the number of open-and-close cycles they can withstand before failing. Standard springs are rated for approximately 10,000 cycles. High-performance springs are rated for 25,000 or even 50,000 cycles. If your garage door opens and closes several times per day, a higher cycle rating means a longer lifespan. We carry multiple options so you can choose the rating that matches your usage needs and budget.

3 Compatibility

To order the correct torsion spring, you need three measurements from your existing spring: the wire size (measured in thousandths of an inch), the inside diameter of the coil, and the overall length of the spring. You also need to know whether your door requires a left-wound or right-wound spring. If you are replacing both springs (which is recommended), you will need one of each. If you are unsure about any of these specifications, contact us with your garage door details and we can help you identify the correct spring.

Absolutely. If you are not sure what part you need, take clear photos of the existing part, the garage door system, any labels or markings, and the overall setup. Email them to us at info@bestgaragedoorparts.com along with your garage door brand and model, and we will do our best to help you identify the correct replacement part before you place your order.

If you order a part that does not fit your garage door system, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We provide a free prepaid return shipping label for all approved returns, and we charge no restocking fees. Contact us to initiate the return process and we will guide you through each step. It is strongly recommended to replace both torsion springs at the same time, even if only one has broken. Both springs have been through the same number of cycles and are at a similar stage of wear. If one spring has failed, the other is likely close to failing as well. Replacing both at once saves you the cost of a second service call and ensures balanced, even operation of your garage door.

4 Shipping

We ship to addresses within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states) through FedEx Ground. For Alaska and Hawaii, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide an accurate shipping quote. We do not ship to U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, freight forwarding addresses, or international addresses.

Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order. The exact shipping rate is displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase. Rates start at $18 for orders up to 12 lb and increase with weight. The shipping fee you see at checkout matches exactly what is shown in our Shipping Policy. There are no hidden fees.

Total delivery time has two components: processing time (1 to 5 business days) and transit time (3 to 7 business days via FedEx Ground). In total, you can expect your order to arrive within 4 to 12 business days from the date you placed it. Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days. Processing and transit times are both counted in business days only (Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays).

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your FedEx tracking number and a direct link to track your package. You can also enter your tracking number at fedex.com/tracking to view real-time updates. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active after your shipping confirmation email is sent.

No. We process and ship orders Monday through Friday only. Orders placed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays will be processed on the next available business day. FedEx also does not deliver on weekends or major holidays.

If your package is lost in transit, we will open an investigation with FedEx and either reship your order or issue a full refund. If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. 5 Payments

For credit and debit cards, your card is authorized at the time of checkout and charged (captured) when your order ships. For PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, your account is charged at the time of order confirmation. If your order is cancelled before shipment, any authorization hold on your card will be released. See our Payment Policy for complete details.

If your payment is declined, your order will not be placed. Double-check that your card number, expiration date, and CVV are correct. Ensure you have sufficient funds or credit available. If the problem persists, contact your bank or try a different payment method. We are not responsible for any bank fees resulting from declined transactions.

Sales tax may be applied to your order depending on the state where your order is shipped. The applicable tax amount will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase. All product and shipping prices shown on our website exclude sales tax. We collect and remit sales tax in accordance with applicable state law.

Yes. If you have a discount code, enter it in the discount code field at checkout before completing your purchase. Only one discount code can be used per order. Discount codes generally apply to the product subtotal and do not apply to shipping costs or sales tax unless otherwise stated. Discount codes cannot be applied after an order is placed.

6 Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day return window. You have 30 days from the date your order was delivered to contact us and request a return. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in its original factory packaging with all included parts, hardware, and documentation. We provide a free prepaid return label and charge no restocking fees. See our full Refund Policy for complete details.

Email us at info@bestgaragedoorparts.com with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason for the return. Include photos of the item in its current condition. Our team will review your request and respond within 1 to 2 business days. If approved, we will email you a prepaid FedEx return label. Pack the item securely and drop it off at any FedEx location. We will process your refund once we receive and inspect the return.

No. We provide a free prepaid FedEx return shipping label for every approved return. You pay nothing to ship your item back to us. The label will be emailed to you after your return is approved.

No. We do not charge any restocking fees. When your return is approved and we receive the item in eligible condition, you receive a full refund of the product price with no deductions.

After we receive your returned item, we inspect it and process your refund within 10 business days. Once the refund is issued, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. Yes. We accept exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Email us at info@bestgaragedoorparts.com with your order number, the item you want to exchange, and the replacement item you need. We will send you a prepaid return label for the original item and ship the replacement once we receive and inspect the return.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@bestgaragedoorparts.com with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including free return shipping. These situations are our responsibility and we resolve them completely.

All returns must be sent using the prepaid return label we provide. Do not ship returns to our business address unless specifically directed to do so. 7 Order Management

It depends on whether your order has already shipped. If your order has not yet been handed to FedEx, we can cancel it and issue a full refund of the entire order amount. If your order has already shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and you would need to wait for delivery and then initiate a return. If your order has not yet shipped, we can update the shipping address at no charge. Contact us immediately with your order number and the corrected address. Once your order has been picked up by FedEx, address changes are no longer guaranteed and may incur additional fees from FedEx. Always double-check your address at checkout to avoid this situation.

Order confirmation emails are sent immediately after your order is placed. If you did not receive one, first check your spam or junk folder. Check all areas around your delivery location, ask neighbors or building management, and wait 24 hours as FedEx sometimes marks packages as delivered slightly before physical drop-off. 8 Account

You can create an account by visiting the account page on our website and clicking the "Create Account" option. You will need to provide your name, email address, and a password. You can also create an account during the checkout process. Having an account is optional — you can always check out as a guest.

On the login page, click the "Forgot your password?" link and enter the email address associated with your account. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us for assistance.

9 Installation and Safety

No. We are a retailer of garage door parts only. We do not provide installation services, on-site technical assistance, or maintenance services. We strongly recommend that garage door parts — especially high-tension components like torsion springs, extension springs, and cables — be installed by a qualified, licensed, and insured garage door professional.

Garage door torsion springs and extension springs operate under extreme tension and can cause serious injury, death, or property damage if handled improperly. We strongly recommend professional installation by a qualified garage door technician. If you choose to install parts yourself, you do so at your own risk and must follow all manufacturer instructions, safety precautions, and applicable local building codes. Permit requirements vary by state, county, and municipality. In some jurisdictions, replacing garage door components requires a building permit; in others, it does not. We recommend checking with your local building department or code enforcement office to determine what permits, if any, are required for your project. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable local building codes.
