Flat end bearing plate, 5-5/8 inches tall, 8-gauge steel, sold individually. This bolts to the wall at the end of the torsion shaft and holds the bearing that lets the shaft spin freely. If the plate's bent or the bearing is seized, the shaft binds and the door won't travel smooth. The 5-5/8 inch height is a common residential size, but plates come in different heights to match different spring setups and header clearances. Measure the height of your existing plate before ordering. You typically need two but they're sold one at a time so order accordingly.
