Hinge #2, standard 11 gauge, plain steel. Sits between sections 2 and 3 on the door. The offset on a #2 is a little more than a #1 because this is where the door starts moving into the curve of the track. If the hinge is bent, cracked, or worn out, it is a good idea to replace it. Check the number stamped on your old hinge to make sure it is a #2 before ordering. The 11 gauge steel is thicker and stronger than lighter residential hinges, so it holds up well with regular use.
